The Lie by Callie Rose

I couldn’t wait for this book. There is something about a book ending on a cliffhanger that makes you love and hate the anticipation of the next book. The story picks up with Harlow hurt and pissed at the boys. The Lie was a perfect name because its pretty much what tore the relationship apart and what is keeping it together at the same time. I like that Harlow is meek and she holds her ground. She doesn’t take any shit from the guys.

Lincoln and Harlow dance around hate and love, but Lincoln is determined to protect Harlow even if she doesn’t see it. There is just something about all of their dynamics that really made me enjoy all the characters. They each brought something to the story that made them stand out and not fall to the side. I can’t wait for book 3 to drop so I can see what the hell is going to happen and if Harlow is right about the killer. Not to mention there is one scene which I was secretly waiting for that is hawt like hawt hawt.

Gage by Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige

Short, sweet and the perfect read for any occasion. If you are looking for a drama free read about two people with instant chemistry about two people who have a relationship that doesn’t consist of constant splits this is the book for you. Reads like this are the foundation for romance readers everywhere. You get the Morgan and Gage the whole book. You get to discover them as a couple and you can feel their connection shooting from the pages.

The meet for me can either make or break a book for me. To me that is the moment in a book that makes me fall in love with the couple individually and MS. Fox and Ms. Paige set this one up perfectly. I needed to know where the hostility was coming from so I was in 100% at this point. I’m not sure what I will need to do to get ahold of Allie and Vaughn but, I’m willing to do it just sayin.

Boys Of Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy

There is something with the Ms. Brandy writes a book that makes it hard not to get lost in the story. She does high school love with some badass characters like no other. She intertwines suspense and romance that keeps you on the edge of seat impatiently flipping pages just to find out what will happen.  You can always count on the fact that when she writes a male you will get her three B’s she does so well, Broody, Bossy and badass.

I fell in love with Raven and how she was so strong even though she had every reason not to be. She was a fighter in a world that seemed to be against her. Then you have Maddoc and that should be all I need to say, but I won’t stop there. Maddoc started off quiet, but he was always there annoying Raven and protecting her in his own way.

I have loved Ms. Brandy’s writing from her first book. She is a drop everything and read right now for me. I can’t wait to see where she takes this book I always get scared when it’s a duo.

The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy

If you ever wonder if a Meagan Brandy book is for you just read one her prologues and your decision will be made. She is a wizard with her words and will slay right through your soul with an all-consuming  love that will pour off her characters. That feeling that her words give you will leave you wanting more and flipping back through the pages just to find your favorite parts. Don't even get me started on her men because DAMN I can't get enough.

I fell in love with Alec within seconds. The protective ones alway get me and Ms. Brandy can write a protective over the top man like no other.  There is this connection between the two characters that just screem from the page even when they are not together. I can't describe it...its like this build up you have been waiting for and when it happens you can breathe a little easier knowing that everything is right in the romance reading world. I fell in love with her writing from the get-go and she was quickly added to my stalker list.

Iron Princess by Meghan March

Ms. March knows how to leave you wanting more. She is the queen at writing kick ass men who can dominate a book and leave you swooning with every protective word that comes out of their mouth. She has the push-pull down between her characters. Her men are tough and fiercely protective and her females are tough as nails giving the guys trouble at every turn.

There is just something smooth in the connection of characters. It never feels forced its just real and as a reader immediately opens you up to their story. It is no different with Kane and Temperance. The first book had me wanting more of Kane. I wanted and needed more dialogue between them, but book two was worth the build up. We get so much more of both of them and it just makes you fall harder for Kane.

Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan

Sometimes you just need something different. You need that book that pushes the boundaries of happy ever after. A book that doesn't always paint love with rose colored glasses, but it paints it with the heartache, the pain and the letting go when every part of your soul screams to hold on.

Iris and August will immediately steal your heart. You just feel the sincerity of Augusts words to the point you just know that true love will prevail above all else. This book is an emotional roller coaster. You will feel every up and down and will spend a good part of this book in shock at some of the twist and turns.  You knew they belonged together, but the law of love seemed to separate them at every turn that you just knew when it did finally happen the storm was still brewing and Iris and August was right in the path of it.

Ms. Ryan can weave a story. I really enjoyed the way she brought the story full circle. I felt like I was with these two every step of the way. I was there fighting for both of them and to me that is what makes a book a great book.

Sex, Not Love by Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland knows how to write a book that will have you coming back for anything and everything she releases. Her characters are relatable and endearing and you cant help but want to hang on to every word and conversation they have.

Nat and Hunter's chemistry is off the charts. You can instantly feel that "it" that you always look for when reading about a couple. Hunter commands your attention right from the get go. He is charismatic, troubled, but most of all you know he is fixable. Nat is ferousion, vulnerable and yet a fighter. You know there will be feelings and fights and that is what kept me turning every page.

I'm not gonna lie. I'm used to Ms. Keeland making me laugh hysterically during her books so when there were moments of "what the hell is going to happen" I was yelling at her to make me laugh. That is how much you connect with Hunter and Nat. You want to be them and you want this story to be your story.

The King by Skye Warren

Skye Warren has quickly moved herself up to one of my top authors. Her writing brings me into the book almost like I'm there in the story...as if the story is my story. The day I discovered this author is the day that all my book funks ended. Im pretty sure I was in a major slump until just by chance, I had this free book on my kindle which in turn brought me my new author obsession.

So needless to say when The King came out I couldn't wait to get my hands on Damon Scott's story. I was so intrigued by him that I needed to know what the hell was happening. Ms. Warren has this way to make a story come to life. Her story goes so deep its almost like its your story. You read it, You live it and in the end you need each word to keep going.

Dirty Little Secret by Kendall Ryan

If you are looking for a quick, short and fast read with a guy who isn't sure at first what he wants then this is the book for you. A story with 3 hot guys, you know its gonna be a story you want to read. There is just something that draws me and pulls me in to the the men who seem to go hot and cold. The guys who want the girl, but just cant fully commit. You know the assholes. They get me every damn time.

I was worried starting this book that Emma would be a quiet spectator during this book. So to say I was pleasantly surprised when Emma turned into a girl who would not only make her own decisions with a side of a sassy mouth, but that she wouldn't take no shit from Gavin. The ending was just enough that has me anxiously awaiting book 2 so I can see what the hell will happen.

Playing Fate by Leigh Ann Lunsford

Ms. Lunsford does angst well. You know going into one of her books you will probably be balling by the end. So when I see that she is writing a lighter book and not only a lighter book, but a sports romance… I was all in. Ms. Lunsford does words well. She creates this story no matter what she is writing that is just engaging and makes you feel like you can’t wait to turn the next page.
I love a man who knows what he wants and Deacon is all about knowing that what he wants is Saylor. We all want the good guy to fall in love with and Deacon is just that guy. He’s focused and driven and intent on winning over the girl. Saylor was joy to read. She had spunk. She was just refreshing and endearing as you could relate with everything she was feeling. You wanted to hug her and slap her at the same time.
Deacon and Saylor will warm your heart and their story will end up stealing it as well. I love reading the young love books. They are so heart stopping and gripping that it makes you just want to binge read everything you can get your hands on about college love. Ms. Lunsford does young love with the best of them and this one will leave you wanting more of her writing and her stories.

BOSSMAN by VI KEELAND

Vi Keeland nails the first meet to a T. Reading a Vi Keeland book is like spending an evening laughing with your best friends. She writes these couples that you feel like you have known most of your life. That you spend your weekends with these people laughing your ass off because they are just that funny and likable. She seems to do it every damn time. I start the book with a smile on my face and end the book with that same stupid grin.

Chase is everything we love. Arrogant, protective and everything in between that makes us want to toss our panties at him.  I loved him from the moment he opened his mouth. I could just picture the moment in my head and I was laughing the whole time. Chase and Reese will make you melt all while trying to cheer them on.

Ms. Keeland excels at infusing chemistry and humor into her books. It’s always an easy read that just flows and makes you forget about real life for a short time. You always know you will fall in love with both characters by the time you hit the last page.
