One Last Wish by Aurora Rose Reynolds
When you are looking for an easy read with a love story that is bound to win you over then look no further than a Ms. Reynolds book. Its a no drama, true love story that guarantees you a happy ending. I love this authors writing, but with that said... I wish there was more. I felt like I was missing out getting to know the connection between Denver and Bre. I felt like I reading a book were they were strangers strangers, but then I find out they practically lived together for so long after LY was born and I felt like I missed out on learning so much about them. It just seemed like it jumped when I needed to build that connection.
I will continue to be a Ms. Reynolds fan probably for eternity. Although this might have not been my favorite book of hers I know that her writing is one my favorites.

Pretty Venom by Ella Fields
There is just something about Ella Fields words that make you get lost in a book. It at times has you so lost in the story that you feel like you are there watching everything fall apart. Trust me when I say fall apart that is exactly what I mean. She is the queen at making everything unravel just to put it back together again.
I really enjoyed the first part of this book. The build up of upcoming events had me not so patiently waiting to see what would happen. The problem is the second half of the book seemed to get a little tit for tat. I get the lash out and I get the wanting to have your revenge it just seemed to take away from both of them. Renee was so strong until it almost seem like she got lost in her groveling and Callum went off the deep end. In the end it all came back together and I got my happily ever after

Malfeasance by K. Webster
If you are looking for something short and easy to read then this is your book. For me who is usually K. Webster's biggest fan... I just couldn't connect with the characters.
Max and Dorian's story is a fast paced, love saves all, quick story. Max is your classic Dad raising his girls and still recovering from losing the love of his life. Dorian is lost and although she finds her fire she needed saving.
Although, K. Webster most generally wows me with her stories I think I just wanted more on this one.

XO Zach by Kendall Ryan
Sometimes you just need a sweet book with guy who pushes and a girl who pushes back. Kendall Ryan keeps you coming back for her words with a sweet, intoxicating, and a heartfelt story that will have you turning the pages just to figure out who will win the battle of wills.
Poppy is headstrong and with her take no prisoners attitude she will show you how to be cautious, but also take what the world has to give you. I really felt a kinship to Poppy as she had her head on her shoulders and seemed to be one track minded on how to get to the finish line.
Zach was just the guy we all love to love. He is hot and sweet and has only one girl on his mind. I loved his instant attraction and want for Poppy. Ms. Ryan does a good job blending a cute and quick story that keeps you interested and invested in not only the story, but the characters.

I Want by Ella Fox
I love me some Ella Fox books. You are always guaranteed a good story with little drama. She writes a drama free romance with a hot guy that you will fall in love with. So far the brothers have not disappointed. Although, at times I would have loved to have Jandro and Kaya have have the dialogue that Kaya had with Elvis. I loved Elvis it was just at times I felt the story focused on him and not getting to know Alejandro and Kaya.
I love these brothers so far and cant wait to continue to read about them. I have high hopes for Rafe and his poor broken soul. I cant wait to see what Ella brings to the table for him. Although, I didn't feel the connection between these two I just know that I will love everything else Ms. Fox brings in the next book. The one thing I do love about reading Ella's books is that the picture she paints seems to come to life. It's like you are the one in the story taking care of Elvis and chasing him across the yard.

Things Liars Hide by Sara Ney
I wish I could be one of those people who loves every book, but that is just not in the card for me and although I fell in love with How to Date A Douchebag by Sara Ney this just didn't work out for me. If you love the cutesy type relationships where the guy is young acting and the girl has major dramatics than this is the book for you. Tabitha and Collin meet in a very entertaining way and I did actually love the basis of the story.
I wanted to love it just because it was Sara Ney, but when a book doesn't work for me it just doesn't work. One of the things I usually love about this author is her characters chemistry and this just fell a little short for me.

Hate To Love You by Tijan
I wanted to love this book so much. Tijan and her writing seem to be ingrained in my heart for most of books, but this one just didn't connect for me. I was so intrigued at the beginning. I mean first day of class, hot guy and girl who was awkward... I was like hell yeah. I just didnt connect with either of them. I wanted more. I wanted that lust that need to be with each other.
Kennedy seemed to be a little to rough around the edges for me. I wanted her to soften so many times through this book it just didn't seem to happen. She seemed almost too mean for the things that happened in her life. I wanted her to be a little less dramatic and a little more open to new things.
I
Shay was a great guy and very supportive in everything that concerned Kennedy. I8 wish we would have had more time to explore their thoughts and feelings a little bit more. I love Tijan and usually her books are right up there at the I only give 5 stars and I would love to say the same for this one it just connect with me.

Drunk Dial by Penelope Ward
I wish I could say that I fell head over heels in love with this book, but something was just missing for me. I didn't feel the connection of the characters that I usually feel with Ms. Wards books. I thought with the way the book started out that I would love the way it would all pan out. Rana drunk dialing Landon is something I think we have all done. So I was instantly entertained with her drunken antics.
The one thing I did love was the Landon and Rana in the past. I loved the letters Landon would write, I just wish I felt the same connection to the older Landon and Rana that I did to the younger version of them. I also enjoyed how she wove Rana's secret into the book. I thought that was well played and truly didn't see it coming. I love Penelope's Wards writing, I think this just had a little too much happening in it for me to feel emotionally connected to Landon and Rana

Mack Daddy by Penelope Ward
I was a little worried starting this book as it just didn’t connect with me right off. I didn’t feel that connection that I usually do with Ms. Ward’s characters. Thankfully, when I started getting more of Mack and Frankie together- I started to feel more for them. Frankie started to grow on me each chapter, but I still didn't feel that connection that made me want to cheer her on. Mack, was just so loveable. That is thing about this author. She makes you love her characters even at times when you want to kick them. They balance each other. At times when I dislike one the other one steps up their game.
Mack and Frankie started off with friends, but like everything else that quickly changed to love. Like all love stories everything has a road block and this one had one hell of a wrench shoved into the story. Although, I didn’t feel the connection at first as the story grew I realized how what started out something innocent became something life altering.

Hell and Back by: Natasha Madison
This was a quick and cute read. If you are looking for a
female in distress with a male who saves the day, this is the book for you. Ms.
Madison gives us a book that is a fast read with a couple to cheer on. I wanted
to feel the connection just a little more than what I did. I felt like the
connection between all 3 of them was top notch, but I wanted that love beyond
hope with Bella and Jackson. I will say that the twists in this book actually
surprised me. I usually am pretty good at the guessing game, but the twist in
this read was well done.
Jackson and Bella are both searching for something that
completes them. Something that proves to be the anchor they both need. Bella is
lost and afraid. She is busy trying to survive and Jackson is busy trying to be
the one to keep them afloat.

Hardball by C.D. Reiss
There is just something about a sports romance that I love. I love to see the guy so committed to one sport and then enters the woman who will destroy the focus. Ms. Reiss made sure to give us a guy we would love and girl who would rip down every wall he had. Although, I would have loved to feel just a little more connection between Dash and Vivian it was nice to read a story and like the female just as much as the male.
Dash is the hot recluse of a baseball player that everyone
wants to know more. He may be on the front lines on the field but off the field
he likes to stay hidden. Enter the hot librarian who has all but gave up on men
but still has hopes that the one is out there. When Dash and Vivian first meet
the sparks and the sass are both there. Each has issues and overcoming them
will be the key to both of them finding happiness.
This is a fast and light-hearted read. Although, the drama is
fun a lot of times it’s also nice to just read a story about two people finding
their way and breaking down some walls as they go about it.
