Only Love by Melanie Harlow

If you are looking for a cutesy, sweet read with little drama then this is the book for you. When looking for love in all the wrong places meets not looking for any love you know you will be into some back and forth and when one is going to push the other will surely pull.  Although, I liked the story line I just couldn't feel a connection between Stella or Ryan. I felt more of connection to granny and thoroughly enjoyed her antics and meddling.

Ryan was aloof and seemed very shy with an obsession for sweets. Stella is the chatty therapist. The sweet girl with her heart on her sleeve. Although, I would loved a little more banter between the couple to help me feel more connected I thought they rounded out the story well.

Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward

If there is one thing I can appreciate in romance books it’s when the authors toss in some great banter with a lot of humor. I loved how Reed and Charlotte where constantly taking shots at each other to try and hide the fact that there were feelings involved. Penelope and Vi collaborated a heartfelt, humorous love story that had me enjoying both sides of the story.

Although, at times Reed was a tough one to crack I saw through his hardened heart and knew that once he let go he would go full force to make sure Charlotte was his. I was a bit surprised to find out what his issue was I’m not even going to lie I was expecting the opposite so much I had my made up that my theory was the only theory. Then you have Charlotte, she was so much fun to read, but at times annoying because I wanted her to play a little hard to get. I get it though, the story needed her to be that way it’s just always hard for me to read when the girl is so geared to cling barb after barb.

Cute, quick read that shows the talent of these two authors. I think they both bring so much to the table and I love when they have a guy who has been burned as you don’t read about it so much anymore.

I Bet You

There is just something about the way this author writes a book that leaves a smile on your face when you get to the end. It’s hard to find a book where I find myself liking both the male and female, but she pulled off Ryker and Penelope’s story so flawlessly that I found myself falling in love with both of them. I love me quirky girl and hot guy romance with the best of them, but this book had so much more. I was either laughing or cheering them on.

If you are looking for a cute quick read then look no further. Ryker and Penelope are damn near perfect and check everything off on the list if you are looking for a young couple finding true love. this author is on my must read list every time she drops a book.

Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen

There are no words to describe the way L.J Shen writes a book. Her stories are like watching a snake charmer. You are so entranced with watching her dance words all over the pages all the while hoping you don't get bitten. Ms. Shen writes a book that will have you dancing chapter to chapter hoping you make it out a live. She is that good at story telling all the while building characters that will make your heart beat a little faster. I could tell you a million times to read one of her books, but I guarantee that once you read one you will not be able to stop.

Celian is just what you expect out of Ms. Shen. He is the asshole that you love to hate. That guy that every time he opens his mouth you don't know whether to cringe or dry hump your kindle. The way her characters are so relatable makes everyone of her books a page turner. She has females that take no shit and males who try to be a hard ass all the while falling for the girl. L.J. Shen is a word genius.

One Last Wish by Aurora Rose Reynolds

When you are looking for an easy read with a love story that is bound to win you over then look no further than a Ms. Reynolds book. Its a no drama, true love story that guarantees you a happy ending. I love this authors writing, but with that said... I wish there was more. I felt like I was missing out getting to know the connection between Denver and Bre. I felt like I  reading a  book were they were strangers strangers, but then I find out they practically lived together for so long after LY was born and I felt like I missed out on learning so much about them. It just seemed like it jumped when I needed to build that connection.

I will continue to be a Ms. Reynolds fan probably for eternity.  Although this might have not been my favorite book of hers I know that her writing is one my favorites.

The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy

If you ever wonder if a Meagan Brandy book is for you just read one her prologues and your decision will be made. She is a wizard with her words and will slay right through your soul with an all-consuming  love that will pour off her characters. That feeling that her words give you will leave you wanting more and flipping back through the pages just to find your favorite parts. Don't even get me started on her men because DAMN I can't get enough.

I fell in love with Alec within seconds. The protective ones alway get me and Ms. Brandy can write a protective over the top man like no other.  There is this connection between the two characters that just screem from the page even when they are not together. I can't describe it...its like this build up you have been waiting for and when it happens you can breathe a little easier knowing that everything is right in the romance reading world. I fell in love with her writing from the get-go and she was quickly added to my stalker list.

Richer Than Sin by Meaghan March

I usually love me some Meghan March. Her writing when paired with the characters she writes usually ends up exploding on the pages. As much as I want to sit here and type that I loved this one just as much...I cant. I struggled through this one trying to find the connection between Lincoln and Whitney. I think I almost wanted more from the past version. I wanted to get that feeling that there was nothing stronger than their love,  but I felt like it was just a repeat of what I was already reading.

With that said there were moments in this book that I did enjoy. I loved the back characters. I felt their fire and love of their family. Cricket seemed so carefree and fun and balls to the wall kinda girl we all love to read about. I also loved the grandfathers role in this book. I loved how Lincoln tried to make everything right, but in the end I just felt like I was continually wanting more. Ms. March will continue to be one of favorite authors though and I cant wait to see if the next book gives me more of that emotional connection.
