The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy
If you ever wonder if a Meagan Brandy book is for you just read one her prologues and your decision will be made. She is a wizard with her words and will slay right through your soul with an all-consuming love that will pour off her characters. That feeling that her words give you will leave you wanting more and flipping back through the pages just to find your favorite parts. Don't even get me started on her men because DAMN I can't get enough.
I fell in love with Alec within seconds. The protective ones alway get me and Ms. Brandy can write a protective over the top man like no other. There is this connection between the two characters that just screem from the page even when they are not together. I can't describe it...its like this build up you have been waiting for and when it happens you can breathe a little easier knowing that everything is right in the romance reading world. I fell in love with her writing from the get-go and she was quickly added to my stalker list.

Richer Than Sin by Meaghan March
I usually love me some Meghan March. Her writing when paired with the characters she writes usually ends up exploding on the pages. As much as I want to sit here and type that I loved this one just as much...I cant. I struggled through this one trying to find the connection between Lincoln and Whitney. I think I almost wanted more from the past version. I wanted to get that feeling that there was nothing stronger than their love, but I felt like it was just a repeat of what I was already reading.
With that said there were moments in this book that I did enjoy. I loved the back characters. I felt their fire and love of their family. Cricket seemed so carefree and fun and balls to the wall kinda girl we all love to read about. I also loved the grandfathers role in this book. I loved how Lincoln tried to make everything right, but in the end I just felt like I was continually wanting more. Ms. March will continue to be one of favorite authors though and I cant wait to see if the next book gives me more of that emotional connection.

Someone Else's Ocean
I usually go into a Kate Stewart book with my balls tucked because I know somewhere hiding in her book is a chapter that will gut me. She has the capability to slay with her words and she chooses just the right moment to break you during her book. Although I had a little difficulty connecting with Ian and Kota I found myself enjoying the atmosphere that the book created.
Both were running from issues and looking for some piece, but for me I wanted to feel that soul connection I usually feel with Ms. Stewart's books. Ian was adorable and confusing at the same time. He seemed to run a lot, but at times had a very dominate personality. I like Kota and her free personality. I was jealous how she was letting it go and finding her own inner peace thousands of miles away from everything she knew.

Pretty Venom by Ella Fields
There is just something about Ella Fields words that make you get lost in a book. It at times has you so lost in the story that you feel like you are there watching everything fall apart. Trust me when I say fall apart that is exactly what I mean. She is the queen at making everything unravel just to put it back together again.
I really enjoyed the first part of this book. The build up of upcoming events had me not so patiently waiting to see what would happen. The problem is the second half of the book seemed to get a little tit for tat. I get the lash out and I get the wanting to have your revenge it just seemed to take away from both of them. Renee was so strong until it almost seem like she got lost in her groveling and Callum went off the deep end. In the end it all came back together and I got my happily ever after
