Beauty and the Badge by Ella Fox
I have said it a million times it seems. If you are looking for a true romance book that the focus is all about the couple, their story and true love then look no further than Ella Fox. She takes a story and turns it into such a sweet, delicate story that you devour in one sitting. Toss in the fact that its a sheriff manly man who knows what he wants when he wants it...well I was sold from page one.
Ashley is the sweet the girl that everyone loves. That person that other people just gravitate too. Even reading the story I liked her instantly. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. Tyler is the guy you love to drool all over your kindle because he is all man and knows how to use it. (WINK WINK)
He's protective and caring and falls hard and fast...which lets be honest the big tough guys are always the best to watch fall.
I can't stress enough that if you haven't read an Ella Fox book. then stop waiting and pick one up. You cant go wrong with any of them, but if a badass cop is your thing then I suggest this one to start with.

The Lie by Callie Rose
I couldn’t wait for this book. There is something about a
book ending on a cliffhanger that makes you love and hate the anticipation of
the next book. The story picks up with Harlow hurt and pissed at the boys. The
Lie was a perfect name because its pretty much what tore the relationship apart
and what is keeping it together at the same time. I like that Harlow is meek
and she holds her ground. She doesn’t take any shit from the guys.
Lincoln and Harlow dance around hate and love, but Lincoln
is determined to protect Harlow even if she doesn’t see it. There is just
something about all of their dynamics that really made me enjoy all the
characters. They each brought something to the story that made them stand out
and not fall to the side. I can’t wait for book 3 to drop so I can see what the
hell is going to happen and if Harlow is right about the killer. Not to mention there is one scene which I was secretly waiting for that is hawt like hawt hawt.
Gage by Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige
Short, sweet and the perfect read for any occasion. If you
are looking for a drama free read about two people with instant chemistry about
two people who have a relationship that doesn’t consist of constant splits this
is the book for you. Reads like this are the foundation for romance readers
everywhere. You get the Morgan and Gage the whole book. You get to discover
them as a couple and you can feel their connection shooting from the pages.
The meet for me can either make or break a book for me. To
me that is the moment in a book that makes me fall in love with the couple
individually and MS. Fox and Ms. Paige set this one up perfectly. I needed to
know where the hostility was coming from so I was in 100% at this point. I’m
not sure what I will need to do to get ahold of Allie and Vaughn but, I’m
willing to do it just sayin.
The Help by Callie Rose
I have been on such a bully read kick that I feel like I
should probably go meetings and now it’s just not bully reads its reverse harem
bully reads. I know I know. When one bully isn’t enough let’s find 4 because we
know by the end of the book she’s going to be doing them all. I didn’t even
read the blurb for this book I just looked at the star rating and read it was
RH and thought why the hell not.
Let me tell you I was not disappointed. Callie Rose can
write and she makes damn sure she has your attention the whole story. I loved
how this was just a little bit of different story line and that there were
twists and turn in the book. I love those gut-clenching moments when you know
someone messed up and you want to live in that moment of pain, but you also can’t
wait to keep reading to see how they fix their fuck ups.
I loved Lincoln right from the start. He might have been an
asshole but I knew when the time for falling came he would go down hard. The
other guys were no different. Each one had a different personality.

Teardrop Shop by Tijan
Let me just start out saying that I'm one of Tijan's biggest fans. I have loved her since her early writing and every book just seems to get stronger and stronger. When I first started to read this one I was not following along. Charlie and her questions seemed a bit much for me and it seemed like people were getting thrown in and I couldn't keep up. I just kept telling myself that its Tijan keep reading. So I did. Thank Freaking God I did because to say this book didnt end up being one of my best in 2019 would be a lie.
It's not to often I finish a book and instantly flip back through to read my favorite scenes but with Reese and Charlie I just needed to live it one more time. Charlie was awkward and at times a bit confusing and other times she was freaking hilarious. Reese was all patience and strength and seemed to know exactly what he wanted. Watching these two dance the dance was what made this book unique.

Written With Regret by Aly Martinez
This book is full of jaw dropping moments, heart stopping scenes and incredibly sweet words that will have your heart hurting and melting all at the same time. Ms. Martinez is a wordsmith when it comes to leaving you in utter suspense while being completely enraptured with the story. From the very first pages I was so engrossed and held captive by the characters and the story line.
It is books like this one that makes me happy I'm not a reader who looks ahead. I just enjoy the story as it unfolds letting the author paint the pages like a blank canvas. I like living every little surprise the book throws at me as I breathe in the words.
If you are looking for something different, something with a few twists, something with a lot of love a lot of hate and a lot of more love then this is the book for you. You will fall so hard for Caven. The relationship between him and his daughter is adorable and that is being said by someone who usually dislikes kids roles in books. I fell in love with the journey of this story and cant wait to get to the next book. I need to know what the hell is going on.

We Shouldn't by Vi Keeland
Vi Keeland’s ability to bring you into the story is what
makes her books stand out. Her characters are hilarious with a side of
toughness and grit. I love that her
females are not afraid to stand up for themselves, but also have that soft side
that makes the men want to protect them no matter how much they try and fight
it. Love, humor and a hot guy who at times you want to slap and other times you
want to climb up on him is why Ms. Keeland is an automatic read for me as soon
as her book hits my kindle.
The tension between Annalise and Bennett was immediately noticeable
and you just knew that as soon as their mouths opened and the banter began that
you wouldn’t be able to stop turning the pages just to see these two go at it.
Bennett was the cocky, hot guy with a soft side that pulled
at your heart strings. I loved the relationship between him and Lucas. It made
you want to root for Bennett to get his head out of his ass and fight for his
girl.

Boys Of Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy
There is something with the Ms. Brandy writes a book that
makes it hard not to get lost in the story. She does high school love with some
badass characters like no other. She intertwines suspense and romance that
keeps you on the edge of seat impatiently flipping pages just to find out what
will happen. You can always count on the
fact that when she writes a male you will get her three B’s she does so well,
Broody, Bossy and badass.
I fell in love with Raven and how she was so strong even
though she had every reason not to be. She was a fighter in a world that seemed
to be against her. Then you have Maddoc and that should be all I need to say,
but I won’t stop there. Maddoc started off quiet, but he was always there
annoying Raven and protecting her in his own way.
I have loved Ms. Brandy’s writing from her first book. She
is a drop everything and read right now for me. I can’t wait to see where she
takes this book I always get scared when it’s a duo.
