Bella Jewel knows how to write a book that grips you right from the beginning. You are sucked into this web of a story, a battle and a love story that sometimes you have to fight to keep. Til Death is no different. You will fall in love Marcus and his battered soul. Marcus has the bad tempered, bruised view and broody outlook we all hate to fall in love (I really love to fall) with. I think Marcus could be my new wall banger book boyfriend. 

Marcus and Katia are both destroyed. Katia does the only thing she knows to do and runs. When they are suddenly brought back together to face each other it becomes a battlefield. Words are said, choices are made and the tiny thread that was unraveling finally breaks. 

 You will fall in love in Marcus and Katia all over again in Volume 2. It’s at times tragic and heartbreaking and other times it’s grasping at hope that love does conquer all. Ms. Jewel managed to write a story in 2 short books that will leave you wanting more, but yet also leaving a smile on your face.

I love shifters and I love me some short books. Sometimes just the ease of a no drama story with a hot wolfy guy is the only thing you need when you are in a book slump. Something to get the mojo flowing and get back to the swing of reading and Rochelle sure does nail it in Spencer’s book. He is all mine, you’re my mate and dammit we are mating. YUM. 

Spencer has been waiting for his mate the way most men do- playing the field and leaving heartbreak in the wake. When Eliza comes to town seeking solidarity what she finds is a family. Being alone most of her life she is hesitant to accept the pact life. Enter Spencer who is too focused on his grandmothers vision that he wouldn’t know his mate if she played tickle the pickle on his dickle- which she was.

Spencer had some tough shoes to fill coming after Hunter. I couldn’t wait to find out how Spencer was going to make up for not knowing his mate was right in front of him- hell, even in his damn bed. I hoped like hell Eliza would make him work his ass off to make amends. If I had a complaint about these books I think it would be- I want more. 

Debt By Nina G Jones

Debt: The obligation of owing someone.

This one word has paved the road for Tax and Jude. They have learned to survive with only leaning on each other. The good the bad it all comes down to redemption. I’m not going to lie I didn’t even read the blurb going into this book. I didn’t know that the main guy’s name was Tax, but I can guarantee you that I will be screaming his name for weeks to come after this book. It’s like Ms. Jones crawled into my head and saw my version of the perfect male asshole and made him come alive in a book.

 This book isn’t for the faint of heart. All I can say is that if you are the reader that likes to step outside the box, the reader who likes to visit the darker side of the fantasy then this is the book for you. Ms. Jones doesn’t just make me want to explore that side she makes me want to become president of the fucking club.  

 Tax… the man that will top my “Cream Team” is brutal- beautifully brutal. He is out for vengeance, but Mia- the past that enraptured him and also fueled his rage to make everyone suffer from his past. He is strong, but weak. He is evil, but good. He is insane, but protective. He is a king, but even a king can be knocked off his throne. 

 This book is a teaser making dream; as I think I highlighted every damn word written in this story.  For me there is a fine line in trying to play the asshole, but also make me feel the pain he has gone through to make him who he is. You know the guy, who every time something horrid comes out of his mouth you don’t know whether to change your panties or shake your head at him. This author nailed it. She made me want to hide in a dark corner waiting for him to come by grab me and make me filthy. This book will make you think why the hell you ever rated another book 5 stars.

Rush by Stevie Cole

When I read the first book Ms. Cole wrote I thought who the hell thinks like this. Who the hell has this kind of brilliance in their head? Then I had a few conversations with her and realized she does- that’s who. She walks her own path when writing, but the one thing that is for sure, when you finish- you will be left in awe at the crazy ride she just took you on. I have loved being on this journey as Stevie finds her mojo and who she is. She is passionate and it comes through in her characters. You will love them, hate them, root them on and journey along as they find themselves.

If you were like me you gathered that Jules was a bitch in book one. Damn did I have it wrong? What she is- is a person who has wanted something for 6 years she couldn’t have- or so she thought. Breaking the rules is one thing Rush is good at. He is the untouchable bad boy who just happens to have an eye for the forbidden. The forbidden could cost them both. Drowning while trying to sort yourself and your fame may cost you everything. 

Rush had me intrigued, but let me just tell you about 45% into this book I couldn’t put the damn book down. I turned into that girl that said- just one more page to see what happens. When he flipped into the role of you are going to be mine and that was it- I was like hello RUSH where the hell do I get my Rush fan club shirt. Stevie makes you fall for these men no matter what issues they have. They could have a fetish with wearing girls’ underwear and by the end of the book you will want your man to wear a pink thong.
