Hemy by Victoria Ashley

Oh Hemy… I’m not sure how Ms. Ashley will top you. When you come out of the gates with Chapter one consisting of wall banging, voyeurism and a little threesome then you might as well just check out as the most awesome author ever. I fell in love with Slade and didn’t think in a million years you would be able to touch him, but then you come at us guns a blazing with Hemy and now I’m wondering how my lawsuit of “rubbing oneself raw” will hold up in the court of law. Lol.

You can’t help but feel the pain and love of Hemy and Onyx. It’s deep and all consuming. Sometimes though we can’t save the people we love the most. Sometimes leaving and turning your back on the ones we love the most is the best thing that could ever happen. When you lose everything four years can be an eternity, but it can also be the eye opener you needed to see what you lost is the most important thing in the world.

It takes a lot to make me horny while reading a book. Everything always fades into the same shit and you find yourself skipping over the sex scenes. Trust me when I say you will not be skipping over Ms. Ashley’s sex scenes you will be propping your kindle against the first thing you come across so you can have both hands free. She brings that feeling that makes you want to claim Hemy as your own because you too have screamed out his name over and over. So now I will say I’m not sure how you will beat Hemy but you have set the bar high. I have loved every one of your characters. Although the books are not just hot they also keep your interest and make you forget about everyday life for a couple hours.

Reasonable Doubt 3 By Whitney G.

Is it possible to get pregnant from reading a book? If it is, sign me up to house all of Andrew Fucking Hamilton’s babies. Holy asshole, dirty mouthed—get what he wants hotness. Let’s not stop there because Aubrey is smart mouthed and just the woman to knock him off his asshole throne. Let’s just say that if reading and pelvic thrusting was an Olympic sport these books would get me a gold medal.

I want to point out that one of the things I loved is the fact that Ms. Williams didn’t change Andrew. She may have softened him around the edges toward the end, but he stayed the Andrew we all fell in love with in book one. You know the one that makes you want to throat punch him and reach for your vibrator all at the same time.

Following Andrew and Aubrey through their journey will have you pissed off, turned on, laughing your ass off and blushing all in the same book. They have a bond and no matter how much Andrew denied it and tried to fight it your heart always seems to win. Aubrey, strong willed and not afraid to walk away knows exactly what she wants out of life and she is not afraid to make drastic changes to get it. These two will light up the pages with heat and heart.

If there was ever a series that I wished was drug out into more books it would be this one. I became obsessed with this story and Ms. Williams' writing. These books may be short, but the way she tells the story feels complete. You are instantly connected and feel a kinship with these two from the very beginning. There was not one thing I felt like I missed out on except I want the proposal dammit..lol

Resisting Temptation by: K.C. Lynn

Cade…Cade…Cade…You will love his broken soul the moment you meet him. I knew his moody, non-talking grunting ass would be my favorite and K.C didn’t disappoint. The author just continues to improve with each book she writes. Her ability to let the characters tell the story makes it not only an emotional, gripping story, but also an effortless read.

Cade and Faith will not only have you falling in love with them on their journey, they will leave you breathless with the loyalty that they show towards each other whether near or far. Cade and Faith…These two will quickly fall into the role of favorite couple. I absolutely loved Faith’s sass and sense of humor and even though the light in her eyes might have dimmed it still shone bright with the fight that was in her to overcome. There is just something about a guy who is tough and protective, yet as you read, you watch him slowly drop the walls and become more vulnerable and more acceptable to let go.

One of my favorite things about reading a book by Ms. Lynn is that her couples are together and interacting a majority of the story. You feel connected with them and emotionally attached right from the beginning. It’s not forced. When you can feel your heart breaking and at the same time laugh and feel the hope they experience then you know the book is well written. It’s not just a book it’s a journey about surviving, faith, overcoming and fighting for what you want.
