Mr. President by Katy Evans

Katy Evans and her words pierce right into my book loving heart. She is the alpha male word whisperer. All I know… is that whatever world Katy Evans is writing… I want to be a part of it. There is this excitement that you get in your chest when one of her books hits your kindle. To be part of the journey to see it play out and to feel like you were part of something that hasn’t quite ended, but still leaves you needing more. That is the reason I read.  There is a smoothness to her writing that has you memorizing every conversation, every look and every secret touch between her characters.

Matt Hamilton will have you wanting to hide somewhere in the corner just to pretend that you are doing something you shouldn’t be doing. I loved every word that came out of his mouth. He was loyal, honest and headstrong. Charlotte. I’m not sure what to say about her. It’s not often in a book I pay attention to the female, but without her and the chemistry that was created between the two characters this story would not have hit me like it did.

If you are looking for chemistry and sexual tension at its finest look no further. Scorching scenes with scorching tension that makes for one of hell of a buildup.

Hell and Back by: Natasha Madison

This was a quick and cute read. If you are looking for a female in distress with a male who saves the day, this is the book for you. Ms. Madison gives us a book that is a fast read with a couple to cheer on. I wanted to feel the connection just a little more than what I did. I felt like the connection between all 3 of them was top notch, but I wanted that love beyond hope with Bella and Jackson. I will say that the twists in this book actually surprised me. I usually am pretty good at the guessing game, but the twist in this read was well done.

Jackson and Bella are both searching for something that completes them. Something that proves to be the anchor they both need. Bella is lost and afraid. She is busy trying to survive and Jackson is busy trying to be the one to keep them afloat.

Black Swan Affair by: K.L. Kreig

K.L Kreig annihilated this book, right along with my heart and quite possibly the reading streak I was on.  To say I fell in love with this book at 7% doesn’t seem like it does enough justice to how this book made me feel. Intense, heart breaking, slack-jawed this is a read that will leave you hopeful and heartbroken all in the last chapter.   The way she wove the characters past and present left me wanting to devour every word and thought. I felt like the only thing missing in this book was after THE END she should have added Drops MIC. This book and everything it brings to the table is why I breathe reading and every damn feel that each page made me experience.

I read this with baited breath and hope in my heart. I volleyed back and forth with the path I hoped this book would take. I felt the pain, the fight and the fear of each character. I can’t tell you how many times I would click out of the book and just stupidly stare at the cover while I psyched myself up to go back in because the anticipation to figure out which way she was going to take me was too much.
