Ms.
Huie brings us a story of love, friendship and total devotion. Lusting after
your best friend isn’t always easy, but sometimes we can’t help who we fall in
love with. I loved Megan from the get go. She was loyal, sweet and at times too
trusting. When a book can provide you a little of everything - love,
suspense and a few twists and turns that will leave you wanting more, you know
it will be a book you will enjoy.
Hiding
the love they felt for each other comes to a stop one night after a few too
many drinks. Finally Megan has the man of her dreams. The only problem is Shane
is set on doing whatever he has to do to protect her and guarantee she won’t be
caught in the mess he has created. There are parts where you will want to reach
through your Kindle and shake the shit out of him. He will make you swoon and
want to slap him all at the same time.
By
the time I hit the second half of this book I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to
know what the hell was going on and who to trust and who to hate. I love when
you’re reading a book and you start questioning all the characters waiting for
them to finally reveal themselves. Once you hit the end you will be ready to
dive right into Book 2.
