Stuck-Up Suit by: Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

I’m convinced these two have better chemistry than what I have ever had with any of my boyfriends. The writing just flows and the story just pulls you in to the point of finding yourself sneak reading while you should be working. The sass and spunk that these two always put in their characters wins me over every time. I’m a huge fan of banter and dialogue and this book gave it ten-fold. I usually could care less about the female in the book, but when done right man does it just add so much more to the story and Soraya was done right.

Soraya and Graham may have not been the perfect couple on paper, but they set the pages on fire with the banter and back and forth. Soraya and her mouth had no problem putting Graham and his ego in line. Graham was the guy we all loved to hate, but when he had his moments the ones we loved they were what made us fall in love with him.

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward can write some damn good books on their own, but together they set the story on fire. They have you laughing one minute and ready to cut a character the next. One thing is for sure, you are not trying to figure out who is writing what- because you are so engrossed in the story that you could care less if they let the trash man write a chapter.

This Is Love, Baby by K. Webser

War won my heart from the word go. Although at first meeting him he may have seemed week he was anything but. Every little insecurity, every little new quirk I discovered, made me fall just a little harder. Even though it felt like forever before getting being reunited with him in this book he still was nothing less than perfect. K. Webster knows how to make you fall for a broken man.
Just when you think that there is nothing more that can happen to Baylee- it happens. Just when you think the good people are just that- they are not that at all. Roles reversed and we got to see a side of Baylee that didn’t come out too much in the first book. She was always the strong one so seeing her lean on War for strength made you connect with her that much more. War fought hard to be the rock and seeing him push aside his thoughts to be there reminded me of all the reasons I fell in love in the first place.
When most people would just stay down these two just kept getting up and pushing forward. The author makes you forget you are reading a book. She drops you into this dark realm where you feel like you one of the characters, fighting to stay ahead of the game.  Ms. Webster has found her groove in writing and I’m just happy that I’m the lucky bastard who gets to devour her words
