A Reason To KIll by C.P. Smith

C.P writes characters that you instantly bond with from the start. She has this uncanny ability to make you feel like you just had the air knocked out of you right along with them when they first make eye contact. For me- banter is a must with my main couple. I like the dialogue. Ms. Smith will give it to you in ten-fold and toss in some crazy funny fights and smartass mouthing back to boot. She is the author who you wished would write a book a month because you just can’t get enough of it. It’s Alpha males claiming their woman, it’s sass and fun all rolled into one and it’s a book that makes you forget all the stresses in life for a few hours.

Mia literally falls into Max’s life. Clumsy, sassy and on a mission. A mission that would put her right in the life of a sexy, axe swinging man named Max. Who better to boss her around and set her right back on her feet than a man who is overbearing and protective. Mia wants to save the bears and Max wants to save Mia. The problem is when you have a female who trouble seems to follow or maybe it’s she seems to find it. Add in a mom, sex toys and family members who promote trouble and you have a must read book.
I like to pretend that when Ms. Smith writes she writes for only me. I love humor in my book, but I also like to have a guy that is bossy and barks out his orders and girl who likes to test all his limits. You won’t find cowering woman and men who can’t protect them in this author’s book. You find people who are already established and have a sense of who they are and what they want. It’s refreshing to fall in love with people who make me want to read about their story again and again.
