Covertly Strong by N.A. Alcorn

I love any book that has a hot guy in it. That is no lie. So when I catch wind that one of my favorite authors is writing a book about a SEAL- I’m all in. I love seeing a different side of Ms. Alcorn’s writing. I also loved the way she brought romance, suspense and fused it with the humor we love seeing from her. Nix and Sloan were each others first loves, first heartbreaks and each others happily ever after. The problem is sometimes the happily ever after comes with a bunch road blocks and wrong turns.

I loved Nix. I really loved Nix and Sloan together and I really really loved the story that these two told. They were inseparable and each others rock.  When the time comes that Sloan has to leave they promise to stay together. The best laid plans always seem to fall to the waste side and when the bond is broken the mind can make up some crazy ideas. 

Ms. Alcorn is a go to author for me. I swear at times some of the shit that comes out of her females mouths could quite possibly come out of mine as well. Her characters are always relatable and for me that is a must when I’m reading a book. First Love, second chance love and a forever love this book is a must read.
