In a Heartbeat By: Hilary Storm

What a quick and enjoyable read. When a book starts out with a body shot scene I knew right away that I was going to like this book. This is one of those books that sometimes you just need to read. There is not a lot of angst but its just a feel good book. The type that takes you back down memory lane and the moment you yourself fell in love. One thing that really stood out for me with her writing was I really liked the back characters and even though they played a huge roll they never overshadowed Talon and Ev. She managed to make me want to continue on to find out what the rest of the series holds, but still was able to make me fall madly in love with Talon.

Talon and Ev have an immediate connection. They both are trying to move on from a bad experiences that has left a bitter taste in their mouths. Talon is unmoving in his feelings for Ev. They fall fast and love hard. Talon is the type of book boyfriend that puts a smile on your face. He is everything that I wish I could have found at 21. With the support of family and friends these two move forward over the hurt and pain and form a bond that we all wish we could find.

I can't wait to read about Taron and Ivy. Ms. Storm has definitely found a new fan. She writes a great story which are perfect in length and still leaves you completely satisfied at the end. I fell madly in love with Talon so I'm intrigued to see if she can do the same in the next book.
