Fighting To Breathe by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Crystal just gets it. She understands that as a woman I need one thing- a bossy man who isn’t afraid to tell me… I mean her what is what. She always delivers a protective guy who can put up with the likes of a sassy mouth female. She writes a story that isn’t filled with drama and just lets you get lost in two people for a few hours all the while falling in love with the story.
Austin and Lea had big plans for their future one that was going to start early. But when Lea’s dad passes she decides to take a different approach to her well planned future one that separate two people desperately in love.
I loved Austin from the get. Even when his ass reared its ugly head I knew he was just trying to protect himself from the one person who could hurt him. When Austin and Lea meet again the fireworks happen and in true Ms. Reynolds fashion it’s a push pull kind of love. Waiting for a Aurora Rose Reynolds book to release never gets old and I can’t wait to see what she brings next.

Forget by N.A. Alcorn
I absolutely loved the way MS. Alcorn told this story. It
was a love story being told while another one was being discovered. Two
people’s journeys both ending in the same result- love. One thing is for sure
that whether the author is writing an 80 year old or a 20 something year old
her humor will have you laughing out loud. I’m the person that usually likes my
males first and fore front in the story, but there is something about the way
she writes a female lead that has you seeing yourself in her female lead.
Dylan is the type of guy we all want. The one who bangs you
against the wall while whispering French words in your ear. I loved the chase
and for me a story is all about the meet and how she has these two meeting will
have you laughing your ass off thinking you probably would have handled the
photoshoot the same damn way.
We all know Ms. Alcorn can deliver on the laughs, but I was
pleasantly surprised to see she can deliver on the tears and the tightening of
the chest when all you want to do is scream NO NO NO. I guess if I would have
looked at the damn book I would have noticed it was going to be a cliffy, but I
didn’t so of course I wanted to kick N.A. in her vagina for putting me through
this wait.
Beneath These Chains by Meghan March
Meghan March
kind of just appeared out of nowhere for me. I was scrolling my newsfeed and
saw a post about her books and I one-clicked and then I fell in love. Her
style, her men and the feisty ass women she writes kind of sold me and ever
since then has had me stalking her next book. There were times I wanted a
little bit more of just them and the story behind Lord, but you can’t turn down
a hot, bossy guy who seems to think it’s his way or the highway, but also knows
when to give in a little.
Ms. March has
this way of introducing her characters that will have you swooning and laughing
all at the same time. Lord and Elle go head to head the first moment they meet.
We all were intrigued with Lord and his greatness in the last book, but when he
is brought to life he just demands the stage.
This author
is an auto click for me. She just writes in the style that I love. The badass
males who take no for an answer, but on the same won’t level know how to
relinquish control for just the right amount of time to allow the sassy ass
girl to put him back in his place.
