The SPiral Down by Aly Martinez

I don’t always do this. M on M is not my normal. Ms. Martinez took a book about two males and made you feel like you were just reading a book about two people discovering each other. You forget about what you are reading and just fall in love with two characters who at times annoy you and other times make you want to wrap your arms around them.

Henry started off like he was going to be a raging ass. I wasn’t sure what to think. Evan on the other hand I instantly loved. His humor and quick wit as well as the way he was able to talk Henry down from his level 10 panic attacks I instantly swooned.

Henry wasn’t the ass I first thought. Watching these two fight for each other and learn to love each other was a fun ride. He may have had his diva moments, but all his other moments melted my heart.
Ms. Martinez makes me wish I had a penis. The scenes were hot and the chemistry between both characters made me want to drop my panties. Whether real life or reading it in a book love is love and you don’t pick who you fall for. Henry and Evan are a true testament to that statement.

Ladies Man by Katy Evans

Katy Evan’s does this thing where she just kills every single word and character that she writes. I would love to try and imagine Ms. Evans and me on a beach soaking up each other’s greatness but the stark reality is that her greatness should be preserved in a book where no one else but me is privileged to read the stories.

I was starting to think that Tahoe and Gina would never get together. As much as I loved the friendship and watching it grow into this fight for love I was ready to have my BAM moment. I wasn’t disappointed though. Good things take time to happen and it well worth the wait.

Ms. Evan’s had some huge shoes to fill. Saint was one of my top book boyfriends of pretty much ever. The thing about Katy is she didn’t try to overshadow she just came in with Tahoe slow and steady making him that much more. In my dream world Ms. Evans feeds me a DQ blizzard while whisper reading all her books to me. Don't judge its my fantasy and in it she has a starring role.

Between Us by Ella Fox

Ella fox does this thing where she just loses you in a story. One minute your reading and the next you are lost in a book and falling in love with characters. I wasn’t sure what would happen with Cole, all I knew is that any given chance he would go one of two ways and I was dying to see which way he would choose. I kept thinking to myself, will she do it? Is Ms. Fox going to go all the way? At first I wanted it I will not lie, but as the story progressed and I got to know Cole and Devon I would have ripped her a new asshole if she would have went there and torn apart the beautiful connection that was being built.

There is just something about when a guy knows that he has fallen for a girl instantly. He doesn’t doubt it... he just goes straight for the win. Cole may have been conflicted, but the moment he actually realized that Devon was the real deal his coin toss went out the window.

Ms. Fox made you hope for everything. You knew and wanted deep down for him to pick his choice and never let go. I didn’t want the undecided Cole. I wanted the Cole that fought and protected his partner. The Cole we got was everything and more. He was that one guy who stood up and took notice the moment he realized the route his life would take. An easy read that will have you praying to the rock gods for more band members.

Stuck-Up Suit by: Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

I’m convinced these two have better chemistry than what I have ever had with any of my boyfriends. The writing just flows and the story just pulls you in to the point of finding yourself sneak reading while you should be working. The sass and spunk that these two always put in their characters wins me over every time. I’m a huge fan of banter and dialogue and this book gave it ten-fold. I usually could care less about the female in the book, but when done right man does it just add so much more to the story and Soraya was done right.

Soraya and Graham may have not been the perfect couple on paper, but they set the pages on fire with the banter and back and forth. Soraya and her mouth had no problem putting Graham and his ego in line. Graham was the guy we all loved to hate, but when he had his moments the ones we loved they were what made us fall in love with him.

Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward can write some damn good books on their own, but together they set the story on fire. They have you laughing one minute and ready to cut a character the next. One thing is for sure, you are not trying to figure out who is writing what- because you are so engrossed in the story that you could care less if they let the trash man write a chapter.

This Is Love, Baby by K. Webser

War won my heart from the word go. Although at first meeting him he may have seemed week he was anything but. Every little insecurity, every little new quirk I discovered, made me fall just a little harder. Even though it felt like forever before getting being reunited with him in this book he still was nothing less than perfect. K. Webster knows how to make you fall for a broken man.
Just when you think that there is nothing more that can happen to Baylee- it happens. Just when you think the good people are just that- they are not that at all. Roles reversed and we got to see a side of Baylee that didn’t come out too much in the first book. She was always the strong one so seeing her lean on War for strength made you connect with her that much more. War fought hard to be the rock and seeing him push aside his thoughts to be there reminded me of all the reasons I fell in love in the first place.
When most people would just stay down these two just kept getting up and pushing forward. The author makes you forget you are reading a book. She drops you into this dark realm where you feel like you one of the characters, fighting to stay ahead of the game.  Ms. Webster has found her groove in writing and I’m just happy that I’m the lucky bastard who gets to devour her words

Crow by A. Zavarelli

I went into this book after reading the first three lines of the blurb and instantly bought it and I can honestly say I was not disappointed. After getting over my lust for Lachlan I managed to open my eyes and see that this book and its story was fucking awesome. I love me some mafia badass men who takes care of his girl. A. Zavarelli nails this story as well as her characters. It left me with a stalking tendency she may regret in books to come.

Mack was feisty from the get go a girl after my own heart. I usually finish a story and end up loving the male and forgetting the female, but Mack put just as much as Lachlan into the story. She made you laugh and cringe at the same time with some of her decisions.

I could probably write this whole review and only mention Lachlan, but I won’t bore you with my love affair of a fictional character. Let me just tell you that he is freaking hot and possessive and makes crazy eyes at anyone who looks at Mack. He is in my top book bf for 2016.

I can’t wait to continue reading Ms. Zavarelli’s work. I’m in love and intrigued with not only her writing, but the other characters who deserve books in this series. Hell I don’t even know if that is the route she is going I’m just jumping the gun and praying like hell they get a book.

Hardball by C.D. Reiss

There is just something about a sports romance that I love. I love to see the guy so committed to one sport and then enters the woman who will destroy the focus. Ms. Reiss made sure to give us a guy we would love and girl who would rip down every wall he had. Although, I would have loved to feel just a little more connection between Dash and Vivian it was nice to read a story and like the female just as much as the male.

Dash is the hot recluse of a baseball player that everyone wants to know more. He may be on the front lines on the field but off the field he likes to stay hidden. Enter the hot librarian who has all but gave up on men but still has hopes that the one is out there. When Dash and Vivian first meet the sparks and the sass are both there. Each has issues and overcoming them will be the key to both of them finding happiness.
This is a fast and light-hearted read. Although, the drama is fun a lot of times it’s also nice to just read a story about two people finding their way and breaking down some walls as they go about it.
