LEV by Belle Aurora

When Belle Aurora drops a book, you don’t read the blurb or go and read the reviews you just one click and then devour the hell out of it. She could write a book about a damaged goat herder and you just know he will be your next book boyfriend. I don’t know how the hell she manages to draw you into every character in the book. You don’t just finish a book; you finish a book and feel like you left friends behind when it’s over.
If there is one thing Ms. Aurora does well- it’s her men. She just nails it every damn time. They can be burying bodies in the backyard and keeping the teeth in a jar by the bed and you will still be like, “that’s my man, he is so hot.” Lev may have his issues, but protecting his family isn’t one of them.
Everyone in this book will have you ready to open your heart to them. The moment Lev took Mina in I knew that this would be a love to fight for. Not many books make you feel that need to fight for your characters, but with these two, you not only want it to happen - you need to see it happen.
Belle never seems to shock me anymore with her books. I just go in knowing that I have to read her books and know the characters are going to survive whatever she puts them through.

Fatal Knockout by Jewel Nicole

I enjoyed this story and thought it was fast read with not a lot of drama in it. I would have loved to have a little more of Blaze and Maddie before it jumped to them being married. I felt like I couldn’t connect with them at times because I missed their journey.  I liked the basis of the story and loved how Blaze cared so much for Madisyn. He was protective and sweet and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a boxer?

Maddie was strong and independent. She was the perfect match for Blaze. I loved how they both enjoyed boxing and it was what brought them together. I would have loved to have read their story from the beginning and experienced the ups and downs of their relationship.

Camouflage by Angelica Chase

By the time you are finished with an Angelica Chase book you will want to do one of two things; hold her hostage until she tells you every sordid detail about the next book or go to the nearest adult store and buy every damn vibrator in every fucking color and size. She could probably write a story about two broke bird watchers who study woodpeckers, end the damn book on a cliff hanger and I would fucking 5 star it because it would be that damn good. Her ability to draw you not only into the story, but get you wrapped up in the character's worlds when you know next to nothing about them is uncanny.

Taylor is the girl we all want to be… strong and fiercely independent. She is a bad ass and I just knew it would take a man of the same caliber to tame the woman in her that needs to believe in someone again. Daniello is a gun toting sex machine. I’m pretty sure he had me moaning a few times in the book. Watching these two try and top each other was a journey on its own.

Ms. Chase is the queen at leaving you with an end that will have you ready to chug a bottle of wine and negotiate getting chapters at a time. Yes, I tried it. It’s a double edged sword- wanting the book and wanting to wait to let it all sink in and contemplate which way she will go with book 2. You never know with her. One minute you are in love with one of her characters and picking out china and then he is on the FBI's Most Wanted list, yet you still can’t help but love him when everyone else hates him. Grab your wine, grab your 34 pack of Duracell batteries and get ready to have a love/hate releationship with Angelica Chase.

Give Me Yesterday by K Webster and Elle Christensen

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. Never in a million years did I think that my heart would be left with the words THE END. All I’m waiting on now is for Blake Shelton to come and announce duo of the year. I usually shy away from the books that may rip my heart out, but when it comes to K. Webster and Elle Christensen I just grab the biggest bottle of wine and settle in for a book that will rock my world. I started the Prologue and thought these bitches are going to shred me then slowly put me back together. The sick thing about it, I couldn’t wait for it to happen.
Chase was the guy we all dream about but always seems out of reach. I love the reformed playboys who get their balls handed to them when they finally meet the girl of their dreams. Chase didn’t disappoint. He went after Tori knowing that she was it for him. Relentless in his approach to shatter every wall guarding her heart.
For ten years Tori has been existing - not really living a life. As much as I understood the cold-hearted woman she’d become, I loved seeing life breathed back into her with each page turned. Watching her unravel to the person she used to be and rooting her on to be the person you wanted to see.
Books like these are the reason why I read. The reason why I get lost inside of another world completely oblivious to anything on the outside. You don’t ever expect that a book will speak to you and draw you in and never let you go. It’s not too often you come across a book that is good, but has a message that people will relate to. K. Webster and Elle Christensen just have a way with words that they just seem to blend into this world that is painted full of color.
